Hey, you forgot that there was yuri involved!
Well, not exactly in Sky girls, but in Strike Witches, it was blatant.

Yeah, I know there is yuri in Strike Witches, but for me yuri is just a side-dish. Moe lolies would always be the main course (^_^) So yuri is not my main reason why I watched those anime (even without yuri, I'm still gonna watch them all). I believe there is no yuri in Sky Girls.
Every girl have their own boy (or man) love interest...

Was it that bad for you? I've seen it; it wasn't good but it wasn't THAT bad. I just wish that they had added more characterization.
And how is it more Hentai than yaoi? Yaoi is porn. Unless you mean shounen-ai which I believe is what you mean since shounen-ai is basicly softcore yaoi.

Er....
I've read, played and watch many yaoi before and i tell you that there is a big distinction between the thing i called yaoi and the thing we call hentai. Shounen-ai is fluff and yaoi does show sex but not as to insert that etc. etc. if its an anime! They won't even show it barely in the manga itself and as I've read sensitive pornograph's manga, it didn't really show something as ......as that. In terms of boyxboy hentai, I'd best label it "bara" not "yaoi" or the simplest term hardcore yaoi. Besides, if yaoi was indeed hentai, then the bookstore near our school should've been reported long ago seeing that they are putting the yaoi magazines beside the shoujo and shounen magazines and kids magazines whereas the bara magazines and hentai magazines is somewhere far from the said magazines.

But sure dude, I should've checked wiki before watching it cause it was actually labeled 18+ and indeed considered hentai, than your normal yaoi animes out there which is labeled 15+s.

EDIT: even though i do play and read BL games, I'm not the kind that would actually wanna see it in action... *creeps* hints are fine in animes but actually doing it is definitely not for me.

Bara is nothing like yaoi. Yes it is marketed towards gay males but the art-style is usually ridiculusly less bishie-like and more "bear-like" (S.P. had bishie art) The problem with the term "yaoi" is that it can be used to mean both the 15+ and the 18+ books so the two are constantly conflicting. That's why some people use the terms "BL" or "shounen-ai" when mentioning the 15+ stuff.
And I think this is what may be causing some confusion between the two of us: (From Wikipedia)
"The terms yaoi and shōnen-ai are sometimes used by western fans to differentiate between the contents of the genre. In this case, yaoi is used to describe titles that contain largely sex scenes and other sexually explicit themes and shōnen-ai is used to describe titles that focus more on romance and do not include explicit sexual content, although they may include implicit sexual content"

Er, I think you are not seeing what i mean....
i think I've mentioned it earlier but maybe I should clarify it a bit more. Its okay to see them in games and in mangas but its not okay for ME to see them actually moving and doing it. I didn't liked yaoi cause its hentai and i don't think it is. And just in case, I barely remember myself reading shounen-ai, nor did I ever read one?

As for my reason for mentioning Sensitive Pornograph, I've watched some yaoi titles before and this was the first time I've saw that kind of yaoi anime so it irked me a little, nothing to get you so worked up about how yaoi is porn and stuff. And if you remember the unspoiled "This thing completely took the little innocence left in me", I'm pretty sure that expresses enough that it WAS the first time I saw something to that accord. Especially when my 2 fave seiyuus are actually voicing them. It got me a little disappointed.

I'm sorry, but the series is called "Sensitive Pornograph". If you weren't expecting at least soft-core hentai, you should have been.

Well, I need to be sorry too cause its not even soft-core hentai at all.

Oh dear god that opening will be playing in my head for weeks now. Dammit!

Worst anime I've seen: Death Note.
Light is the most horrible person I've ever seen. L was the only reason I kept watching (and then because I was over halfway through), but he wasn't enough to save the show.

Heh, I love death note. I've said it before, light is made to be hated.

As for my... Hmm. The starry sky anime because of the nonexistent story, and my bro keeps forcing me to watch beyblade. It's kinda... Overrated and I don't get why this kids can run rampant playing toys and saving the world.

Haha, Sensitive Pornograph was disappointing… It wasn't bad for its proposal (hey, I wasn't expecting more than porn), but I found it unappealing. Even Enzai, which had that TERRIBLE art, was more cool than that. At least the characters had any resemblance of a personality…

As for yaoi, I reall hate The Tyrant who Fell in Love.
It irks me so much, I'm disgusted to even think about it. I'm sorry, I just don't like watching loveable, kind characters portrayed as rapists, and the rape = love trope is *pukes a little* (worst of all, in the manga who comes before that, shows the uke character is homophobic because he was nearly raped… dear lord, how does getting raped again cures him of it?! someone needs logic classes).
As for me, I really dislike Inuyasha. The art is ugly, the plot is the same thing over and over again (go to village, fight monster, get jewel piece, repeat) and the characters are bland.

As for shounen-ai, it's pretty much impossible to watch Meine Liebe if you're a German because of the bastardized names. It all takes place in the kingdom of Kuchen, which is "cake" in German, there is a "Rosenstolz Academy", with "Rosenstolz" being a popular German band (the U.S. equivalent would be the "Bee Gees Academy"), and the main characters are the Fürst von Marmelade ("Prince of jam"), the Markgraf von Sekt ("Margrave of sparkling wine"), the Herzog von Mohn ("Duke of poppy") and the Pfalzgraf von Silvaner ("Count palatine of white wine"). A German cannot watch the show without laughing uncontrollably because of the horrible, horrible choice of names.

I loved Meine Liebe, although I was alphabetized in german XD It was pretty much hilarious, but I suppose it was in spirits with the anime. There was a serious plot going on, but I doubt a single fangirl paid attention to anything but the flowing capes and sparkling bishounen and serious slashy moments (it wasn't shounen ai per se… although they removed Erika completely from it).
