Tetris on game boy colour! It came out the year I was born and the SP was more recent but we didn't buy that one until later.

Re: Your first ever video game.
Aww I don't even remember! I got into gaming when I was very young. It would have been a game on the PlayStation 1 though- I had one with a mini-monitor and everything. Chances are it was Crash Bandicoot 2, I still have it, and even more surprisingly it still works! I still play it sometimes. It's just as fun as it was then, but playing it so much has made it one of my least favorite games of the series haha.

Re: Your first ever video game.
My first was either Diddy Kong Racing or Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64. I was around 4 or 5 then, so I can't remember clearly. But those are the earliest games I remember. Still have both of them too. They even work. Well, when the console isn't being a pain.
Still really love DKR. But I can never get anyone to race against me anymore, and it's not as fun by yourself. (Way too easy. Unless it's a water track.)
Once in awhile me and my dad will get really competitive with DKR and will spend hours passing the controller back and forth trying to beat the other's best time in the time trial mode for a certain track. Last time we didn't stop until I started getting a blister on my thumb from playing much more than I was used to. (Which is actually a lot, since i'm the only gamer in the family.) Totally worth it though.
