Sub Glasses!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14654339
Originally meant for people with hearing problems, this device is going to be the next step to virtualization of our environment.
They kinda remind me of the anime Dennou Coil where children had some sort of virtual avatar, virtual pets, reality augmented hacking devices, etc.
But for now, these glasses kinda do a soft sub on media like theatre movies, allowing people to enjoy a movie in a foreign language for example.
The possibilities are enormous. From maps, assistants, live conversation translation, information, etc.
The revolution is coming.

Re: Sub Glasses!
This is fantastic! You could even do translations. Everyone could see the same film but the subtitles would be in different languages.. *o*

Re: Sub Glasses!
Looks nifty, but my problem with all these new glasses devices is that I wear glasses! Glasses on glasses just doesn't work well.
