Ribbons

Ribbons can be quite a bother. I personally use elastics and hairclips. When required (educational, cultural, business and/or religious), I tie the top part of my hair into a bun and use a handkerchief to cover it.

Just like the Chinese before 1644.
However, on casual days, I usually use a hair elastic. nothing elaborate.
Still, I've had a total of 8 instances where people mistake me as a girl...sad.

Ribbons are not a COMMON occurance, but still popular.
