Anime that I think are actually good:
Cowboy Bebop
Hunter x Hunter
Mushi-shi
Baccano!
Ouran High School Host Club
Cardcaptor Sakura
Fate/Zero
almost all Ghibli movies
Personal favourites that kind of suck in some way but I'm in love with anyway:
Sword of the Stranger
Sengoku Basara
Gintama
Dragon Ball Z (US)
Cowboy Bebop

Fate/Zero

Holy crud, you watched all of that? I don't usually watch anime that go on for a very long time.
On the other hand, I like the art style of it. I generally prefer old anime over all the new shiny stuff, so I may watch it later. During the summer. When I can't sleep. So I may finish the entire series in one week, like I did with Gundam...

Galaxy Angel is the best for me. The characters are so funny and the episodes are can be watched randomly.

Careful what you do, ‘cause God is watching your every move. Hold my hand in the dark street, for if you do I know that I’ll be safe. Even if I’m far away and alone, I can be sure that you’ll find me there, this I know. You draw me close for a while, so quiet. You tell me everything. If I forget what you say, then you’d come to me, and tell me again. Yes you’d tell me once again. But what happens when I know it all, then what should I do after that? What then?

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
Actually, dragon ball anime is definitely not the best anime series out there. In fact, if you read all post here (not only in this thread), Naruto and Dragon Ball are among hated anime series. Why? Simple: filler.
The manga, on the other hand, is good. I love it too ^_^

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
haha yes I understand what you mean. If I compare the depth of the story, character, art etc, it's definitely not the best anime. But for me, Dragonball is something which will always excite me. And by far Dragonball is the anime I've re-watched the most, and I don't think any other anime can replace that. When Dragonball Kai came, although I always knew what will happen next episode I couldn't wait till the release of the next episode.LVUER wrote:Actually, dragon ball anime is definitely not the best anime series out there. And when I saw this topic, Dragonball is also the only anime which automatically popped into my head without thinking about it :p
Don't know how to explain it lol. It's like....if I had a girlfriend (which will definitely not be the best girl in the world :p), I will still love her the most.
Dragonball is something like that I think rofl

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
It's nice to talk about the good shows. One that comes to mind is Cowboy Bebop, a classic in terms of character and story. The first half of Death Note is a great battle of wits with strong characters (not too fond of the second half, sadly). Higurashi anime was an excellent example of a series that took an over the top idea and portrayed it brilliantly with strong and interesting character arcs.
Also, any Ghibli production holds a strong place in my heart. A film like 5 centimeters per second is a classic example of a great romance and loss. Exceptional work that doesn't rely on shock tactics, but quality of character and writing. Sadly a rarity when you look at recent anime offerings.

If it's manga... this would be a tough question... But anime... Gintama wins hands down. For me anyway (in love with Gin-chan) lol xD

Which is better, Heartcatch or Suite? Though Heartcatch is somewhat more refreshing and cure, Suite graphics is better IMO.
