Now there's a legal way to read out-of-print manga for free. And by visiting this site instead of downloading via other means (scanlation or whatever), you actually support the author since they get money from ads.
Unfortunately, they're all still in Japanese ;P

You could still look at the pictures~
Or practice reading Japanese (furigana, yay).
The site isn't hard to navigate if you know basic Japanese or if you know how to look up Japanese (by bookmarklet what I use or add-ons). And then there's always Google Translate.
