Re: "Real" nekomimi?

Two days ago I visited this "Toy Fair" in a mall near my home. I met with an old ex-coworker of mine but I didn't recognize her at first since she wear heavy make-up (she's cosplaying). Guess what, she wore this nekomimi accessory. Damn, it's so cute :3 The ear kept moving and moving... I think she was very excited at that time.

It's very hard to get one here and I asked her how she get it, and she said she ordered it directly from abroad (last time I met her, she told me she have a plan to study abroad, perhaps at that time...).

Luckily they aren't so difficult for us to get them in Tokyo.
Heck, they even sell them in Ginza, where I go every Monday.

The #renpy IRC channel is a great place to chat with other devs. Due to the nature of IRC and timezone differences, people probably won't reply right away.

If you'd like to view or use any code from my VN PM me. All code is freely available without restriction, but also without warranty or (much) support.

It's obvious, since it's made in Japan ^_^

I know that story. It doesn't end well.

I know I'd risk falling into a coma, but I'd still play that kind of game.

Oh, the potential of nekomimi-related technology.

Or the gaming helmet that just blinds you and everyone has to tell you what you're interacting with! :)

Acctually from an engineer/medical standpoint I am loving the fact that we as a world are getting interested in Neural transmitters and Low level cybernetics. that just puts us one step closer to fully integrated implants and artificial limbs. <3

Remember it's silly things like this and adult toys that made Silicone feel like warm natural skin happen. :P

And
PyTom I thought they already had an anime about that?

SAO uses direct neural input, while .Hack used some sort of VR glasses. SAO also has things happening in it, which wasn't the case in most .Hack series. (I did like Legend of Twilight's Bracelet.)

A downside to SAO - apart from the unfortunate placement of the filler content towards the start of the series - is that the mid-season finale only made sense if you've read the novels or seen Accel World, which takes place in the same universe.

I wouldn't buy these, too expensive for what is just a novelty piece... but if I had them, I would most definitely wear them in public just for kicks.

Or at least had more then 1 color (2 only in Japan)

The next gen of them will me lighter and have a detachable / sticky forehead reader so it can be better hidden. expect them to be $150 or so.
