I stumbled across an interesting game for iPhone today, and thought I'd share about it. It's made by SQUARE ENIX, by the way.

It's a story about this musical city named Einsatz, where lots of aspiring musicians gather in order to be able to perform at this tower with many levels of concert halls. They all aim to try and reach the highest level, where the grandest concert hall is held.
The residents of the city, known as the Audience, decide whether or not an orchestra is worthy enough to perform there, but so far not a single orchestra has been deemed as such.
The main character is called Takt, a newbie conductor chasing after his brother Volt. He takes control of an orchestra that has fallen from a reputable one to a small one, and the story's basically about him leading it to greater heights.
^crappy summary by me, sorry
The music is also gorgeous, and so is the art, so check it out~
Click on the link above for their website and a lovely intro to the app.

It uses a sort of tap rhythm game where you conduct the orchestra, and there's a bit of story and character development in between. For an iPhone game, I'm quite happy that there's something like this. Most apps on the iPhone are... eh.
The first three chapters of SYMPHONICA are free, you have to pay for the rest.
