It's sad to see a good MMO get closed, especially one you've played yourself.

I'm playing Getamped 2 currently in case you need you need a replacement. The community is bad though, if you manage to pull a very long combo - they will call you spammer, if you use a range weapon and kiting - they will call you runner (seriously, they expect you to melee with a bow >.<), and yes ... this people are usually using OP/overpowered weapon lol.

I'm playing Getamped 2 currently in case you need you need a replacement. All community's are like that, what can you do.

I was a Grappler myself. I had a fun time with it when it still had the Stamina system but switched over to Lost Saga because of all the cool hero switching you can do.

Speaking of Lost Saga it's re-opened! (Pre-open beat of course)
I wonder if I'll go back to playing that game now.

So Lost Saga was closed down too in the past D:? Tha's sad ... but at least the new publisher hold an account transfer event, it's a good sign ! The game looks interesting though, I might give it a try (I'm currently playing 2 MMOs and start getting bored with one of them, maybe it's time to get a replacement ^^; )

I think it was mostly because the player base was going down, probably due to lack of advertisement and updates and the rise of hackers.
Nexon has popular games such as Maple Story/Mabinogi/Vindictus that the game couldn't hold up with the competition. They shut it down for the USA users, they game is still holding strong in Korean though.
It might even get picked up again by a different company again.

So, in a nutshell...

Yeah, I was a pretty popular player on that game myself, Ranked around the 400-500. Had a guild, loads of friends who I played with pretty often, got kicked for being good. Ahh... Those were good times.
I sadly couldn't get a transfer working for myself so I might go back and just start all over with it.

It's a fun game, but it gets bad rep for having unfair heroes and pay2win gears. (Issues may very)

I suggest giving it a go myself.

lol you are so hardcore! I mostly play MMO casually, 3-10 match a day, unless there is an event going, so my rank is pretty forgettable ^^.

I think I'll give it a try once it pass closed pass beta stage. I don't like my character being wiped lol unless the closed beta prize is really really good

I heard the 1st one was superior, but I'm just being a little over dramatic about it all.
But it is an RTS MMO.

Not to hardcore, I just loved the game and I played it whenever I had the time to.
Even if it does get you frustrated at time.

Roger that! Though it might take a while, my download speed is slow and I'm currently busy with CS-chan's special event in Getamped 2 (I can't download anything when playing MMO, dc guaranteed >.>). I only lack 2 Ivis poster now, so hopefully it won't be that long.
