Chobits - Cute and intriguing
Delicious Seasons - Have only read the first volume but it seemed very nice (seeems like the translation work is a bit off in a couple of places however)
Kill Me, Kiss Me - A lot of action but also cute (yet complicated) romance too.
Girl Got Game - Another one of those complicated romance stories, some parts are a little too predictable but it seems nice overall
Hot Gimmick - The story can get frustrating at times but it seemed pretty interesting
Kodomo no Omocha - More comedy and craziness but does have a cute romance story

Kodomo no Omocha is definitely interesting. Others I would recommend is Peach Girl and Kare Kano.

Eh...Quick question : Was the use of the word "fake" put there in response to my "cryptic" post? If so, my bad. I was referring to the manga, "FAKE." Heh, it's a homosexual love story, I think...

Nah, I haven't seen any Waldenbooks here where I live in England... Nostalgia & Comics is my favourite place to go here. They even get in a bishoujo games magazine called G'sMagazine. Fantastic.
They get some nice treats in there every now and again and the manga selection is good. Can't say much for the video selection though so I always buy online instead.
(and nowhere sells stuff like posters, cards or music for anime here -_- )

The closest I have to a bookshop selling anime is Borders and their partner "Books etc.". Sometimes they get things the other shop hasn't which is alright (but not a big selection)

I got kicked out of that shop twice. They said I was abusing some of their books which I wasn't. The truth the people that worked there are a bunch of pricks.

LOL!

Waldenbooks/Borders is the only place around here that has manga titles...keep thinking *I should get one that looks promising and read it* - that's how I got hooked onto fantasy books!

Heh heh. You know what I love to do? I love to just walk into the manga sections, and make friends with everybody there... Ask girls if they think I was weird for reading homosexual manga, (Eerie Queerie, Gravitation, Fake) ask punks if they wouldn't mind reading this or that, talk to those people who wear all black and are sadness and stuffs and buy them Dejiko skull caps. It's all about the buddies.

Oh yeah, for a read, try Dragon Voice. It's more of a musical thing, so if that's not your cup of tea, pass it up. But if you like reading text that is totally warped out (The main character's voice is so hoarse it's like a frog) then go for it. Pretty funny.
