Shugo Chara. A magical girl anime.
Damn I hated this kind of anime when I was a child because of the characters and now i feel so guilty to enjoy it... I mean it's so repetitive and poorly done... My mind regress or what?!

Almost all of my "guilty pleasure" anime are old nostalgic things of questionable quality that I grew up with as a kid such as The first Season of Beyblade, Mon Colle' Knights and of course the dubs of Digimon Adventure 01 & 02 to name a few. (,,^_^,,)

Btw, is anyone else here excited for Digimon Adventure Tri?

Gravitation. I loved the manga, but the anime was really bad. I don't know why I keep watching it, but I do.

Yeah, the Seitokai Yakuindomo series... it's so blatantly sexual that it just sort of erases the line it's crossing until you don't feel bad for making lame boner puns.

I guess the Kantai Collection anime would fit in here.

I've read quite a bit of negative reviews questioning the writing and numerous inconsistencies. Yes, I admit it's not the best anime out there, and some parts could use some work. But it's the characters that leave me wanting more - they're loveable, cute, and funny. Like the Kongou sisters and the 6th destroyer division ^^

I can't wait for the second season!

School Rumble. In fact, I'm even watching it right now. It has such a stupid but hilarious plot. I don't think I actually hate any of the characters really, either. Even though it's kind of weird mostly all the time, I still love it. And I over-listen to the openings too. :(

Don't mean to necro, but... Kekko Kamen. For some reason, I enjoy it - I prefer most of Go Nagai's other work, like Masenkaiser, or Getta Robo... but... there's something about KK which affects me on a certain level that I have to watch.
(Disclosure: I hate hentai. I never cared for it. So, my enjoyment of KK is perplexing to me to say the least!)

Even admitting to this makes me feel... dirty. :S

Probably Makuranodanshi... I'm slightly ashamed that I enjoy it so much...

It's basically an anime with a different "pillow boy" each week and they're supposed to talk to you before you go to sleep or something like that. Cringeworthy yet addicting - not to mention it has a catchy opening theme song.
I am trying to improve my own writing by reading more books. Please PM if you have any book recommendations! As this is a learning exercise, any genre is perfectly fine!

Tee-kyuu!
There's no point in the whole series and yet I can't stop watching.
The comedy isn't written well but I still laugh so hard for no reason.

I just can't stop enjoying this nonsense, hah. ^^;

Did someone say Shugo Chara because--

Shugo Chara. Ah. The first anime I ever watched, as a child. Honestly, it's a nostalgia thing for me, just like DBZ and the whole Digimon Adventure series. If I'd watched them at my current age, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed them very much, but as a ten-year-old I lived for those shows.

edit: Also, Vampire Knight. I feel like admitting you liked Vampire Knight is basically the same thing as admitting you liked anime Twilight, but at the same time... hey, I was young, okay?! Hahaha... TT-TT

My third all-time anime of course- Ghost Stories! You've probably seen clips of it on Tumblr or YouTube of that horribly funny dubbed anime that has lines that make it seem like an abridged series but is 100% real. I've watched it at least 3 times completely through, since I think it only has 20 episodes. It's really funny, and I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Rosario+Vampire. I am usually not into ecchi titles, and not too big a fan of harems, but ohmygosh this show is so funny, beautifully animated, and ahh I love it. Plus, I like how our MC isn't some dude who has trouble choosing or doesn't choose at all, we all know who he has liked from the beginning. I also like the friendship elements, even if the girls are all fighting over Tsukune lol. So yeah, one of those rare titles in a genre I normally don't watch that I love. And somewhat has substance sometimes...plus a school of monsters, neat.
