WARNING: this game contains graphic gore. While it isn't excessively detailed, you won't see everything and most of it is simply blood, it is still there. If, say, American McGee's Alice was not the game for you, this won't be either. I understand that many people cannot handle this sort of content and hope this notice is sufficient.
I'm a little late on this one, as the IGG campaign is already over. But given they've gone over their goal and I played and adored the alpha demo, I wanted to share this with everyone.

Fran Bow is a simple little horror/point and click adventure game by KillMonday, a team of two Swedish developers. You play as Fran, a little girl who has lost her parents and only wants to find out who killed them, why, where her cat is, and to simply go home.

But in a game like this, nothing is ever REALLY that simple.

The closest thing I can compare this game to is, of course, American McGee's Alice and Alice: Madness Returns. If they were point and click games. And hand drawn. And much, much more disturbing.

I don't want to give away much, this is something I think you need to play yourselves. There is an alpha demo available on multiple platforms, and hopefully more in the future. If, for any reason, you can't play it? Go to YouTube and give it a look, you will easily find LPs of the demo.

The game has an estimated release of Summer 2014.

Hey cool I backed this game awhile ago. I'm glad it worked out for them. I look forward to playing the game when it's completed :].
