I use MangaStorm on my ipad to read manga scanlations. I think it's awesome!

Higurashi and Planetarian are also downloadable for iOS (I'm surprised how many people don't realise this).

Splashtop Desktop is also an amazing remote control app for the PC--the protocol it uses is unique, and allows anime to be streamed to your device straight from your computer screen. If you've used various other remote applications before (VNC, Teamviewer, Logmein), you may think this sounds crazy, but it actually works really well.
