What's your reaction after watching a really amazing anime?

Well for me, I would go to my bed grab meh pillow and ask myself: What should I do with my life now?

I share it with my friends and we discuss why it's amazing. We compare it to other amazing anime shows, compare it to other anime we've watched recently that didn't really gave that much impact, we recall some scenes that we like and we reflect on how this is the same as some real life issues people are having right now. Then we get over it and move on with other stuff...

I go on a watching spree, and end up finishing it in one day, and then I get really sad because I had finished it so soon. lol.

I let it sink in, and realize that it is over...

I feel dissapointed yet satisfied simultaneously.
Dissapointed because it's already over, but satisfied because it brings me joy.

Me? Back in the day (approx. 3 years ago ), I'd sit around with this sort of... hollow feeling in my chest/gut region. It was like depression without all the negative thoughts and drawbacks (horrible reference, I know, but the only one I can really use that's accurate).

Now, I just sit back in excitement and amazement (if the ending was KILLER), then I take a walk and think about it (mostly because I think better when I'm moving). I actually prefer this reaction to my old one, because I never knew how long it would last or how deep it would be.

Then:
1. Listen to the music on repeat for months
2. Tell everyone and their mom to watch it
3. Force everyone and their mom to watch it, observing their reactions with glee
4. Be disappointed when they don't like it as much as me or are in a state of shock due to whatever content they disliked
5. Analyze it to death.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

I feel abandoned. It's like the characters are moving on without me.
It's like I wanted to stay by their side, but wasn't allowed anymore. Steins;Gate and Danganronpa cursed me like that õ_o
