How can someone has some many "favourites". If it's so many, then it can't be called favourites anymore?

It's quite simple, lvuer. I (claim) to like all these titles on equal terms. Not that I think they're equal in terms of plot, animation, music etc. but I just like them all equally.

Also, I can have a lot of so-called "favorites" because these represent only a small fraction of the shows I've actually watched, or so I claim :evil:

I thought this much should be obvious?

Besides, the original post stated no limits. It said what ARE your current favorite anime/manga series. Not to state just a set number of titles from your favorites. I hope I've made myself clear, but if not, I'd be willing to explain further much as it might derail the thread completely (which I don't really care about)

If we're talking "current" then I was quite happy with Maria+Holic (just concluded), Clannad After Story (just concluded) and so far have been quite taken with K-On (just broadcast Ep 02).

* Maria Sama ga Miteru [marimite] *-*
* Hellsing
* Basilisk ~ Kouga Ninpou Chou ~
* Rurouni Kenshin

I'll squeal at everything related to:
- Ghibli
- RGVeda (Manga. The very first manga I bought as a volume)
- Rurouni Kenshin (Manga. Anime until kyoto arc's end, OVAs)
- Cowboy Beebop
- Wolf's Rain
- Eureka SeveN (both manga and anime)
- Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni
- Bleach (manga)
- Fullmetal Alchemist (manga)
- RomeoxJuliet (anime)
- Shakugan no Shana (anime, first season, second one never caught my attention >_o)
Edit: forgot to add Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Dx

Currently watching:
- Fullmetal Alchemist (2) (out of fangirlness)

Currently reading (in order of squealing intensity):
- Fullmetal Alchemist
- Bleach
- Deadman Wonderland
- Bakuman
- Saint Seiya - The Lost Canvas
- Otaku no musume-san
- Usagi drop
- Chii's sweet home (<3)
- Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
- xxxHolic (this thing is so frustrating =_=;, I just read it because of TRC)
- Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (it's getting really boring...)
- Kurohime (I think I read this just because Kurohime is pretty and sexy and it has an underlying love story xD)
- Kannagi (I read it because of the drawings xD;)

And a handful of guilty-pleasure-that-are-not-really-memorable random shoujo series I read just for the "awwww <3", "squeeee!" and doki-doki XP

May I ask why do you think it's frustrating?
And, I have to ask, what's TRC? Tsubasa?

Yup. The full name is Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. I have no idea why CLAMP felt it necessary to capitalize random letters, but apparently it matters to them.

Because lately the panels seem too empty, the chapters seem to end without much happening and the pacing is awfully slow when you read one chapter per week Dx;
That is frustrating for me.

It seems japanese peoples like to capitalize random letters and use strange symbols in foreing names. At least, most of japanese bands I know use things like this (DI3SIRAE, xTriPx, NoGoD, GPKism, and so on).

Macross Frontier. Just...Macross Frontier. (Not least because its best character probably has the biggest breasts you'll ever see in a non-hentai anime...) The number of times they pull off awesome fakeouts and explosive "what the hell?"s doesn't hurt.

Sailor Moon, despite being -generally- mediocre, also gets an honorable mention for the number of little things they really do right. (Kunzite, start to finish, makes an awesome villain...and of course, probably the best-written relationship of any mix of genders in anime, Haruka and Michiru.)

Very true! I forgot that one

Yes, Sailormoon. I shame myself for not remembering it. Without Sailormoon animation, there won't be my current drawing style (heck, perhaps right now I won't be drawing at all)
