No, you misunderstood, the anime ended (they did not want to make more episodes) , but the manga is ONGOING. Pete did he thought but Two weeks after the end of the olympics in a city in Japan. pete

Honestly, I absolutely despise animes like Bleach and Inuyasha that NEVER END. There's a couple of interesting episodes in the first round, and the characters are kinda likeable- but then a "twist" appears and NOTHING EVER ENDS. You sit through episode after episode waiting for some kind of satisfaction, only to realize they'll never answer everything and the whole series is just a long commercial for DVDs and toys.

They're all just cash cows. And once something becomes a cash cow, it's not entertaining to me anymore. Being held at the edge of your seat waiting for the answer to the twist 5 seasons ago is for drone fanboys who think they're watching something cool. Blech.

That being said, I still like parts of Bleach and Inuyasha. The ideas were good until they died and turned into cash cows :/

(although my taste in Anime isn't that sophisticated either... My loves are FMA, Moetan, Panty and Stocking, and Tsukiyomi Moon Phase...)

That's partially why I hate Naruto so much...it never ends! I mean, when you have *episode 221*...gimme a break! I know it's exciting and everything, but can't you end things like this? I much prefer animes that have a definite end, or at least some sort of closure, rather than the *tune in for the next 2000 days because we have no plans to end this cash cow!*

I had also been a fan of Naruto. But then, when I have watched the thing like for the millionth time, I was like "Give me a break!"
And I was actually surprised that dad liked Naruto better than I do.

At least Detective Conan, even though long, it seems to end. I haven't watched all episodes, though. xD
Those animes are good, and all has a good plotline. But when they seem to run like forever, that's what somebody can call TV abuse. I agree with Fawn.

I did know that he went to heaven, but to me he was as good as gone. I only watched the anime though. All the sites for the manga just kept giving me spam, so I couldn't read it.

But now I want to...

Naruto. Need I say more? But at least it probably isn't as bad as the pokemon anime...
