After a chat with my older sister, it seems my first anime was Speed Racer... to think I don't even like it.

Me too. Either that or the English dub of Cardcaptor Sakura. Oh, the days when I didn't know what anime was ^^TeheRJ wrote:The first anime I have ever saw is Pokemon, but that was when I didn't even know what anime was. Lol.

The first one I ever caught glimpses of was Sailor Moon. The first one I started actively watching was Inuyasha. It still has a little spot in my heart, wow, did I fangirl over THAT one for a while.

Like a lot of others, it was Sailor Moon. At the time I was most likely 5 or 6. I do remember being attracted to those magical girl changing scenes since you know...nudity...heh

Re: The first anime you ever saw?
Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell... were pretty good choices as a first anime...
Back when I still had Adult Swim, before the damned cable company cut it out of the standard package... Man, I hate Comcast... switchin' to DISH soon...
But those are my first animes....

First anime I ever watched I think it was pokemon or cardcaptor sakura. I still love cardcaptor sakura it has such beautiful art as well as many other series in Clamp their art inspired me ever since I was a little girl.
"In our world of big names, curiously, our true heroes tend to be anonymous. In this life of illusion and quasi-illusion, the person of solid virtues who can be admired for something more substantial than his well-knownness often proves to be the unsung hero: the teacher, the nurse, the mother, the honest cop, the hard worker at lonely, underpaid, unglamorous, unpublicized jobs." -Daniel J. The first anime I watched was Dragon Ball-Z. It had good art and story; a true anime.

Dragon Ball Z is a good manga, but not a good anime (for me at least).
