The first anime you ever saw?

I love both, and I found out, they were rivals. Haha. I was so young back then.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it's either of Voltes 5 and Fruits Basket. XD

first anime... um... probably something that i wasn't even aware WAS anime. heh... i'd have to say it was Pokemon or Sailor Moon.

First anime I saw that actually made a difference was DBZ. Absolutely loved that but when your a kid who wouldn't? Next was clearly Escaflowne... Whic h is probably the reason I like action anime and shouju! lol

First was Pokemon or Hamtaro. Didn't really even know any pokemon other than Pikachu until 4th grade.

It would have been either Alakazam the Great or "Battle of the Planets"
But unlike a lot of people, I knew it was different. I think it was when I up to "Starblazers" when I made the connection Japan, but when I saw anime with Japanese themes in the Phillppines in 1981 that the connection was complete

I think the very first anime I ever saw was either Voltes 5 or The Flying House. What really got me into anime though was Love Hina. ^_^

Pokemon was probably the first anime I saw, I remember back in elementary school the boys were playing with their Pokemon cards and pretending they were attacking eachother by putting them on the ground and shouting commands. At first I thought it was really stupid, but I wound up becoming a pokemaniac as time went on. XDDD

Oh yeah, then Sailor Moon. I don't remember when I actually started watching that though... *scratches head*

first Movie was Mononoke Hime,
first Anime from when I started thinking of it as Anime was Fate/Stay Night and one or two others I can't remember anymore.

Inuyasha, in the third grade. I even remember the first episode I saw; Shippo's first love. XD Fell instantly in love with anime.

It was Sailor Moon, tied with Pokemon and one other series I don't remember the title anymore (and I can't find the title anywhere). I was in kindergarden, I think. Though it lasted until first or second grade, then more series joined xD

That's where I started drawing as well. Starting with copying Sailor Moon from the screen and magazines xD

I watched it on TV when I was lil. But then- I had never heard of Anime and I even didn't know the meaning of this word. Wait...I even didn't know such a word existed! XD Ah, yeah anime/manga- things like that are not popular in my country. :<

When I got into these stuff a few years ago( 4 to be exact)- the first anime I watched and knew it was anime was Naruto-wow!
