What do you hate about Japan?

I think... really, ANY country has its ups and downs but to offer any of my experiences (I live in Japan at the moment) Although Im grateful I live here, I have a few things that tick me off. XD

Humidity and crowded trains...

I kinda find it sad that they have to seperate and make "women only" train carriages in the year 2010 to "solve" or "lessen" the sexual harrasment cases on trains. Its a problem with a heavily populated country that rely on trains as the main forms of transportation (they also have ladies only carriages in India and Taiwan I think?)

The drunk loud men (yes, and women) that roam the streets or take over public areas at night. :\

The fact that my city office is only avaiable on the weekdays when Im at work. (-w-)

The ridiculious price for pizza (;_;) Pizza's so expensive here, I havent had a bite since last year... for christmas! lol
Movie tickets can cost up around 1500-3000 yen for one ticket on a weekend night and we always get releases slower... (ladies day is on wed so I cant go cos I have work... XD)

And while Im on the subject of movies - the recently(?) released/promoted "my darling is a foreigner" kinda makes me want to roll my eyes. Yes, its a movie based on love and overcoming the cultural differences etc... but in 2010? I dunno, I just think this sort of thing would of been a release 10-20 years ago. lol Its not like its uncommon thing to see different race couples together, esp in Tokyo.

Oh no! No more stereotypical meetings in eroges or VNs in general where the hero/heroine meets a love interest by accidental/not really accidental sexual harassment!

Rich? Right now Japan has lots of debts (but not necessarily debt to foreign countries). Even the seniors citizen pension money is in the risk of "disappearing". That's why Japan's economy is hit hard this time (again).

I hate, that when i went with my dad to anime center, we were planning to take the elevator to the highest floor and then go down. Guess what happened! We stepped out of the elevator and we have seen tons of 18+ stuff! So i just blushed and ran three floors down to arrive at third floor, which had normal anime! They should just make a sign like this : "This floor is not suitable for 18-"


EDIT : Do not get me wrong, i do not hate the 18+ stuff, sometimes they are "useful" but some 6 year old kid can go there and he will be just confused from a "strange guy that touches breasts".

Hahaha. You're right. My country also have big debt from IMF and foreign countries (like Japan and US) that I don't know when we will be able to pay them all (perhaps never).

But compared to other developed asian countries, perhaps Japan have some serious financial problems.

They have a life sized Gundam not me...Also don't like the lack of western foods. I'd miss them if I ever went there. Lack of tentacle monsters. Lack of breeding. Censored hentai/porn/anime/etc. Excess of cell phones. People who make fun of Americans...and other foreiners...but those are everywhere. Still I love/like Japan.

You can easily get western food in Japan - a lot of the food I tried for the first time when I was living out there was western stuff that they don't really sell where I live, like gratin, corn dogs (amerikan doggu!), saltine crackers and some other crap. They couldn't seem to get fish and chips right, though...

Hate's kind of a strong word, but Japanese television is awful. Minor celebrities eating and gushing about how oishiiii~ everything is really isn't all that entertaining. :B And so many generic, interchangeable boy bands, oh god (though they're not too bad on the eyes, tbh ).
