I hate the fact that I live so far away!!!!!!!!!!

I want to go......!

Oh, and I greatly dislike Domo-kun.
I don't like the way he stares at me...

I hate how far away it is too. But you're way further than me, I mean, Kashyyyk? You got me beat by a few lightyears.

I think he means that it would've been cool if the Philippines were part of Japan.

Personally, I think that's wishful thinking. IRL, it wouldn't have been all roses and stars. Filipino's would've become 2nd class citizens like the Ainu's and immigrants like the Chinese and Koreans. They may have built up the infrastructure of the Philippine islands but you also have to consider the political, monetary, and societal implications. Would politicians have the best interest of Filipino's? Would items be expensive like in Japan? Would Philippines keep their culture or truly become assimilated and become Buddhists or Shintoists and everything Japanese? The grass is always greener on the other side. What they don't tell you is that once you get there, it's not so green as it looks.

What I don't like:
-kids advancing through the grades even though they may not have deserved it
-suicides and bullying
-your college dictates the job you get
-conformity
-whaling
-that whole "take responsibility" thing
-office workers have to stay on the job and not leave before their boss

The sexism. And, completely independently from the sexism, the prevalence of rape in their porn.

Indeed the worse thing it's the sexism ^

Sometimes it's even ridiculous how some ppl still fall to believe and stand for the men/women stereotypes, and Hentai... I love it, but it's open to see for anyone even in media seemingly as innocent as a saturday afternoon anime... I'll never forgive Yokoshima from Mikami Ghost Sweeper for grabbing Mikami's breasts in front of my mother, which earned me a banning to watch anything with eyes wider than bugs bunny's.

Oh, and the OVERLY exaggerated love for androginous j-pop singers and anime characters... that can't be a good thing for japanese young men trying to fetch a lady's attention. xD How can a guy get a GF when they expect to find a mix between Sephiroth and Miku from An Cafe?

I kinda agree, I don't mind them and sometimes I do like androgynous characters, but I'm beginning to like manly men for who they are. Pretty boys are fine things and all, but all men need love :(

I consider the whole "beautiful guys" thing more promoting healthy competition. :D Seriously, a guy doesn't have to wear makeup or anything, but seeing teenage boys on the train that don't look like they just rolled out of bed is like the biggest culture shock of all!

Back to the topic-- I hate that they have great big nasty centipedes over there. Euughh centipedes, I don't even...

Hahaha! Yeah, that was what I meant, Rioka. Of course it's wishful thinking. It will always be hypothetical because it never happened. I'm well-aware of the possibility that it might not have been all that good. I guess sarcasm doesn't come out all that well when it's not spoken and is integrated into a single sentence forum post.

Still, I'd like to believe that the Philippines would've become Shin-Nihon or somethin if it had happened :)

Off-topic:

Speakin of culture? Did we Filipinos ever have that? I think Filipino culture is primarily a potpourri of other cultures both in the past and in contemporary times and Filipinos should just learn to accept that rather than forcing stuff like balut, bamboo flutes, and failed revolutions and Filipino/Tagalog (which I don't speak on a regular basis) on the Filipino people in general.

Also, I'm a fake Catholic (somebody catch the reference, pleaz  )
How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)

@ lordcloudx
Maybe you should put "/sarcasm" at the end next time just to make sure. ; )

Speaking of pretty boys.... I dislike reading manga's where they depict an evil character as pretty before you find out he's (or she) is evil and when he's "unmasked" as evil, he (or she) suddenly look like some crazed skeletal monster with very a twisted up face. What's up with that? And this was a regular person, not some demon pretending to be human.

I dislike their humid weather. That's all I felt when I was in Tokyo last summer. Hot, dry, climate.

If I'm a girl (you know I am a man, right?), then perhaps I would hate Japanese men/boy. They are so work-alcoholic, and doesn't/rarely help with the house chores. Really, according to Cool Japan, Japanese men is among the most unpopular men in the world (while Japanese women is among the most popular).
