Here is a survey I am doing that I am planning to use for Family Feud games at anime conventions. If you wish to participate please email me or send me a message with the answers directly. The reason I don’t want them sent as a reply message through the forum is so that people’s answers will not influence the answers of those who send answers afterward.

None (since no anime movie enter the theater in my country... it's either on DVD or aired straight at my local TV station)

Recent Gundam (Seed, Seed Destiny, OO), RahXePhone

By making out, do you mean sex/make love? I never making out so I don't really know, but I think it's going to be heartwarming relationship anime, kinda like Futari no Ecchi. Still... rather than anime, I think it's better to have H-anime/Eroge anime...
10. What British sci-fi would make a good anime or manga?
I never notice the country whenever I watch a movie (I only know Westerns or Japan or not either of them). So I can't answer the question.

For the record, I wasn't thinking of JK's seiries.

It's hard for me to differentiate English accents. For me, they're all almost the same. But anyway, now that I've think it over again, Stargate SG-1 is the sci-fi show that I want to see the anime (if they're British made). It's also cool to see sci-fi movie like Babylon (again, if it's British) into anime... but then again, space sci-fi like that are cooler in real action, not in cartoon ...

Stargate: SG-1 isn't British; there have been many movies going by the name 'Babylon' (or variations thereof) some of which have been partly or wholly British, although I kind of suspect the OP probably meant TV programmes like Doctor Who, which is what most Americans refer to when they say 'British Sci-Fi'.


Speaking of the OP, am I the only one who read "please don't reply publically so as to not influence other people's answers" into that post?

I would prefer to see a Dr. Who anime over a Harry Potter anime. That would be pretty awesome.

Side note: Koge-Donbo* (creator of Di Gi Charat) had a Harry Potter fan site where she drew absurdly cute renditions of Harry Potter characters.

For the record HP is not sci-fi. It's closer to fantasy and paranormal. Am I the only one

that totally depends on personal opinion and who makes it out as overrated. to me, i felt that toradora was overrated. Not because it was bad. I liked it, it's just that my friend kept making it out to be the best thing since the internet.

I don't know any british sci-fi besides Dr Who. I love Dr Who, but I believe it should stay the way it is now. A doctor who anime would piss me off. Who wants to see an anime character essentially run non-stop?

I haven't seen the anime yet, but for truly infamous nudity the manga Dance in the Vampire Bund has to count. It has gratuitous underage nudity! I hear the anime follows suit.

Any of Miyazaki's work.

Puni Puni Poemy. Though I think that was the point.

- Pokemon, the second movie. And hetalia, Paint it, White! ...in a Japanese theatre and I didn't understand a word and spent 1800yen on it...xD

- By now Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I still love it, but it's overrated.

- ...like hell I know, I watch anime and don't make out. Maybe porn anime?

- Sci-fi? Iunno. Normal British live-action-series? Merlin xD (Because it has so much shounen-ai potential.)
