lol, guys, knock it off. xD

This game looks VERY interesting. I love sims. And graphics are just perfect. No blundersome 3D for no reason -- just perfect pixel art. There's just something way more satisfying about it than 3D, or even 2D drawings. I guess that's nostalgia?

... but I do not have an iPhone, so I guess I will never play this. Sad day.

Lol, sorry, we got a bit carried away there.

Pixel art is awesome.. the best games ever are done in that style.

I don't have one either... instead, I have an iPod Touch in used condition. No contract required, and saved about $80 US because I bought it at a pawn shop.

iPod Touch costs 230-400 dollars.. if you saved 80 dollars, you got it for 150-320. Niceee.

Kairosoft is making plans for more English releases of its games: http://www.gamertell.com/gaming/comment ... y-2-to-ios

In my neighborhood, there's a few shops that sell used goods. Some sell CDs, DVDs, and video games. "Pawn shops" sell just about anything that's legal to sell secondhand, including electronics, clothes, and musical instruments. The used media stores in my neighborhood were selling used 8 GB iPod Touches for about $150 US, while a pawn shop in my neighborhood had the same item for $120.

So if you live in a suburban or urban area, and a nation where it's acceptable to buy/sell used home electronics, then you probably have a few stores in your neighborhood. Check a local search engine, or a phonebook. And when you find a store and purchase something, make sure you get a receipt, just in case the item is damaged!

Game Dev Story is now in English on Android. I heard this news from browsing Kairosoft's site at http://kairopark.jp/android/en

Purchasing items in used condition is a little risky, but it's almost always cheaper.

It's been a few months since Kairosoft released Hot Springs Story in English for iOS and Android. It was a business simulation game about building an inn, and keeping it profitable. I liked it, but I didn't find it quite as intuitive or compelling.

In the last month, the company released Grand Prix Story exclusively for Android devices. I don't own one, so I can't play it in English yet.

Also, it sounds like Pocket Academy is coming soon for iOS. Not much news about it, as they simply say "According to a well-informed source, a hot new app is bound for release soon..." (at http://kairopark.jp/iphone/en )
