This seemed an appropriate place to ask about this...
A load of my favourite anime music tracks say they're by someone or something called
I've . It seems a bit mysterious quite what this "I've" actually is. Some of the songs also list themselves as being sung by someone called "Kotoko" (eg the Onegai Twins OP "Second Flight") or "Eiko" or suchlike.
So what does that make "I've"? Are they a group of singers? A label? An association? Is it just a name for a genre of J-pop? Does anybody know?

Sorry for butting in, but where does everybody get their music from? I must get my fixes from Winamp radio, which kinda sucks...

I think they're a group. I know they did the OP and ED songs for all TWO of Key's games (Kanon and Air.) I believe they did put out a couple albums related to ren'ai games... I'd point you to a good website, but I have to go home now.

I've or I've Sound is sort of a label for a production group that are most famously known for all their work within the bishoujo dating sim/visual novel gaming scene. Their music has alot of beat to it and they are very popular. Kotoko is one of the artists who work under I've, it's sort of a "group label" for a number of artists, similar to CLAMP being a group label for all those artists who produced stuff like Card Captor Sakura, Chobits and so on. Eiko I have not heard of as much, but I know, she is one of the artists of the group. I believe even LIA and SHIHO can fall under I've Sound, if that's true.... almost all music in bishoujo games is by this sound label o.o;; (LIA did Key games such as AIR) They are not really a "music group" though as they don't really sing together (except on special occassion/exceptions unless that changes), but individually and you may be able to find solo albums for certain artists. Kotoko has her first solo album (I think) coming out Spring 2004... (don't quote me on that though....), that is if you want stuff outside all of the compilation albums and game soundtracks of course
