[solved] How do I make my game autosave?

#1 Post by Nanahs » Tue Sep 25, 2018 4:50 pm

Since my game will be for Android, how do I make it be autosave?
People who play games on their cellphone will not remember to save before closing the app hah

Thanks :)

The app autosaves itself if you close the app, minimise the app or turn your phone off.
By default, it also saves state, so the app will resume exactly where a player left it if they leave, such as to answer a call, or google a walkthrough 😜 (in some games, this behaviour is unwanted, but luckily can be disabled)
Warning: May contain trace amounts of gratuitous plot.
pro·gram·mer (noun) An organism capable of converting caffeine into code.
