CG Gallery help? + custom scrolling save/load?

#1 Post by silversporksama » Sun Jun 05, 2011 1:07 pm

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to make the CG gallery I envisioned. I hope it's not too complicated.

Just think of the scrolling load/save layout only instead of...well...saving or loading a file, it would open an unlocked CG.
I've been practicing Ren'py for a while, but I've got no skills in ui boxes and buttons and scrollbars and that stuff (a few links that could help me with with that problem would be a big help as well)

And then the buttons that usually have the save/load slots contain the title of the CG, or "???" when the CG hasn't been unlocked yet.

Also on the topic of that lovely load/save layout...I was wondering if I could possibly rearrange the elements in some way...?

My exact idea is having the preview thumbnail or whatever it's called (the thing on the upper-right) take up all the space at the top, while the area with the save/load slots take up the same area, only the whole thing is as short as the navgation buttons box.

Or maybe there's a way to make an imagemap version of the scrolling save/load layout....?
