Video File As Main Menu Background

I was planning on spending my morning attempting to code something like this, but search is turning up nothing. How would you all suggest loading a loopable video file as the main menu background? Is it possible to do with Renpy?

It would be easier just to do slideshow on loop with disslove, but to put a video, even if you had the right format that Renpy does support, I'm sort of sketchy on that, because I had tried it once, only to have say "unsupported image format" so it most likely can only be images and colors. So I would suggest a slideshow, it can work almost as well as a video, just less movements.
