Tom's Health vs Bug Reports

#1 Post by PyTom » Mon Jun 27, 2011 6:18 pm

Just for everyone's information - I had some health issues show up again on the weekend. I'll be on some relatively strong painkillers for the next couple of weeks, and then I'll be going in for surgery.

What this means is that I'll be scaling back the rate of development of Ren'Py for the next month or so. Most notably, I don't think I'll be spending as much time reading the forum. So if you find a bug or potential bug in Ren'Py don't post it here, please post it on our bug tracker:

http://bugs.launchpad.net/renpy

That ensures that I'll eventually see it, and you'll get a response.

I don't expect this to be a big deal, in practice. Nowadays, most Ren'Py support happens user-to-user, with me only getting involved when bugs are found. But I just want to make sure those bugs are found and eventually dealt with.

Good luck to you in surgery ;_; Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy the rest of your summer.

I hope you get better soon and get through this alright. Ren'Py is a lot less important than your health, so take it easy.

Dang, that sounds rough. Well, certainly take your time to relax and recover fully.

That really sucks, I'm so sorry you have to go through that. My mom's been through multiple surgeries in the past few years; so I understand how sucky it is... I wish I could send you some of our chicken soup!

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting giant syringes stuck into me soon enough. But I appreciate the sentiment. (From everyone.)
