I'd like to note that on Firefox 5, the ChangeLog page glitches (Really quite oddly.). However, the page appears normal in Dillo, Elinks, and Chrome, so I chalk it up to a bug in Firefox.

Yeah -- like that. each version's stuff goes into a box, and then said boxes are inanely overlapped for maximum unreadability

EDIT: It seems to be a problem caused by a specific addon: Scriptish. I have no idea why the RenPy site is the only one effected.

Hi! I hope this is the right place for this.
I have some grave problems with the newest releases of Py'Ren on my computer.

I am using Ubuntu Linux on a Laptop with an Intel Graphics Card.

I had similar problems with the demo of Planet Stronghold – which may use the same last additions to this nice program. On Planet Stronghold I wasn't able to read some passages and had a constant problem to see the battle options during the fight. I got along by guessing what's happening, though.

But I think on the image of the tutorial above one can see the problem. It is near to unusable sadly :(

I don't have recognized such problem on versions before 6.12 and I am thankful that Ubuntu 11.04 ships with an usable older version.

Thank you for your great work so far!
I hope I will often use the power of Ren'Py in the future :)

You could try pressing shift during start up and choose the software render.
Does that solve the problem?

Yes, Anima!

Thanks for the quick response! It works! … At least with the tutorial. It is OpenGL that has sadly still problems here … I will try the Stronghold Demo again as well.

In general this is good news, as i was fearing that I might not be able to use new versions with my system. But Software Renderer works still. Great! (I didn't know how to come to this settings before. If I read about it I did not instantly understand it.)
