Releasing a Game or Demo
Hey there! I would like to know how to release a demo of your game and how to upload onto a website for people to download. Also when you turn the game into a demo, can you still edit it? Thanks! ┌U・ェ・U┘♪

Well, if you're using Renpy, click on build distributions. If you do that, you can still edit it, unless you archived the files.

I'm going to piggyback off this question.
I built my distributions and now cannot find them. Where does RenPy put them?
This feels like one of those questions where the answer will become immediately evident to me once I ask, but I am driving myself insane trying to find them.
Edit:aaaand after thirty minutes of looking I finally realize they are zip files in the parent directory. I knew I'd find them once I broke down and asked.

Re: Releasing a Game or Demo
Uploading them to a website depends on your web space. Do you use a host like...um...what do kids use these days? I think GeoCities is gone...not sure about Angelfire...meh, if you go through a company like Google or Yahoo! or something, then you'll follow their directions. If you have a personal website, you'll either need to upload it via FTP, or whatever upload software your space provider uses.
The best reason to get up in the morning is to outdo yourself: to do it better than you've ever done it before. But if you haven't done it better by nightfall... look at your globe and pick a spot: it's always morning somewhere.

If you don't have a website or anything, there's always mediafire.com for free uploading, too
