Ren'py 6.13.7 Uncaught Exception

Hello, I am a new Ren'py user, and new to this forum, so please forgive me if this topic has already been posted somewhere.
I recently downloaded the most recent update of Ren'py, and also java to go along with it, but whenever I open the Ren'py application, I get this message:I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While loading the script.
ScriptError: Name ('/home/tom/ab/renpy/common/00atl.rpy', 1255291630, 0) is defined twice: at common/00atl.rpy:7 and common/00atl.rpy:7.

This would be the sort of error you'd get if you have a 00atl.rpyc in one directory, and 00atl.rpy in another directory. (It's okay if they both exist in the same directory.)
