Styling/Personalizing the In-game buttons (Quick Save, etc)

#1 Post by roankun » Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:12 am

So, I recently discovered that ren'py 6.13 has a built-in in-game button thing (the ones for Q. Save, Q. Load, etc)... 6.12 I made my own, so I'm not sure how to go about personalizing them now.

I saw the code on screens.rpy, but to be honest, I'm kinda scared to touch them. Last time I checked the wiki, it wasn't there so... help?

Try to add code for your buttons and remove code for quick_menu screen

Ummm... no, I don't want to delete them. I want to customize them. Is there any way to do that?

You can edit the code in screens.rpy to customize those buttons.

Ummm... yes, I know that. lol. I phrased the question wrongly. I guess it works the same way with customizing the game and main menu, huh? I haven't actually tried it yet, so I was just asking the question first, and I thought I'd finish my sprites first before changing the look. I'll play around with it this weekend, I guess.
