Mpeg Video question

Hi, I've been messing around with creating an interactive novel lately, and have hit a bit of a snag....

I had planned on creating animated opening and endings for the game, but the spacer video I inserted for the purposes for development refuses to display. Instead the background image from the previous scene is displayed for the time alotted for the video (3 seconds).

My spacer video has no audio, 800x600, and is Mpeg1 (I just checked again).

I used this to try and get the video to display.

Is there something stupid I'm missing? I'm really new to all of this, so I could be missing something obvious.

Can you send the movie over to me, so I can try it out? I don't see anything obviously wrong.

Ah... um... I hate to break this one to you...

The filename you sent me was logomovie.mpeg. The code you gave tries to play logomovie.mpg... this might very well be the problem.

OMG! *bangs head on keyboard* I can't believe I wasted a half hour on that! I knew it was going to be something stupid, but I didn't think it would be that dumb!

It's fixed now!
