I'm pleased to announce the release of Ren'Py 5.6.4 "Penguin Parity". The primary purpose of this release is to fix an issue with the launcher under Linux, but it also includes some new features.

The only immediate issue I see is with the included launcher for Mac OS X. I'm not sure if it was my computer, or a problem on your end, but the launcher would not execute at first. The problem was that the actual Unix executable in the bundle (renpy.app/Contents/MacOS/Ren'Py Launcher) is not set to be executable. I had to run "chmod +x" on it. You may want to look into that.
