Replacing buttons and side windows with an image??

Forgive me if this question has been answered but...
You know that window with the Character's name that appears when you use show_two_window?
How can I replace the background of that with an image?
Also, is there any way to replace the background of the game menu buttons with an image?
Just one last question, in the renpy tutorial game, they mentioned something about centering text so that white text appears over a black background in the center of the screen, but I can't seem to find the actual code for it...
I'm really sorry for asking so many questions, but I really just can't find anyone else to ask....

Most things you want you can usually find in the Cookbook, so give it a lookover

Centering text in the middle is done like so:

centered "Blah balh this is now centered in the middle without the window showing"

For the black background, you'd need to have a black background defined and showing
