Particle-like Animation?

#1 Post by AERenoir » Tue Dec 11, 2012 9:39 am

Is there a shortcut to creating particle-like animations, Like feathers or flower petals falling down the screen, or bubbles floating up? You know, other than creating individual elements and animating them with ATL.

If there isn't any, any tips on making the ATL animation NOT look stiff?

Also, check the tutorial game, I believe it talks about it in there a bit, (could be wrong though)

Is using "Animation" as the image any different from just using one static image?

Can this function be used to make a diagonal particle movement? It only mentioned vertical and horizontal.

Watch the sprite section on the tutorial game, then it shows how sakura petals animate. Seeing is better than hearing.

And of cause, it can move to any direction.
