Rapt Error Installing SDK

#1 Post by qirien » Mon Jul 01, 2013 6:16 pm

I'm trying to use RAPT to create an Android version of the game I'm working on, but I'm getting an error message when I try to run installsdk. It tests the JDK, unpacks ANT, and then it says:

Opening http://developer.android.com/sdk/terms.html in a web browser.

Code: Select all

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./android.py", line 66, in <module>
    main()

    interface.terms("http://developer.android.com/sdk/terms.html", "Do you accept the Android SDK Terms and Conditions?")

    errread, errwrite)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/subprocess.py", line 1259, in _execute_child
    raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory
It does not pull up a dialogue box that asks if I accept (as it looks like it is trying to do). I am running debian linux, python 2.7.3, rapt 6.15.7.0. Anybody have any ideas what the problem is?

Huh. For some reason, Python can't open a web browser. That seems to be some sort of misconfiguration in your system. You should ensure that you have a web browser (firefox?) installed.

You may need to set the BROWSER environment variable, as described here:

http://docs.python.org/2.7/library/webb ... webbrowser

Yeah, it looks like the problem is in webbrowser or subprocess . . . I'll work on tracking it down.
