My computer froze while I was editing a script, which I afterwards found filled with NUL bytes. Having it in the game folder prevents Ren'Py from working and the file itself seems to be completely useless. Why does it happen and is there any way to restore it? I'd rather not rewrite it from scratch... I have a partial backup and a .rpyc that contains most, but not all, of that script (not attached anymore).
Thanks in advance.

There is a thread right below this one: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... =8&t=13871
Which of course will not help you. It is worth mentioning however to show that it is frowned upon to help people with this problem.

Helping is not frowned upon, I just don't want the scripts used to be widely distributed.

I've actually tried to use that decompiler, but somehow it didn't work. However, I've received a PM from Donmai who was kind enough to help me. The problem is now solved.
