Got same problem before.

Have you imported certificates? There's a second file where you have to list them.

Try with new certificates to check if it works with it.

What certificate you are referring to? I'm not familiar with you're talking about. Truly appreciated your help.

Your certificate is the "android.keystore" file located on the root of your RATP directory.
"local.properties" is a text file that indicate where your certificate is stored and where the SDK is stored.

If it don't work, have you searched in the log files on your android device?

I get the exact same problem as one posted earlier in this thread.

The local.properties of mine is like this

I think I have the "android.keystore" you're referring to, but it's located outside the folder "android-sdk"

It's just in the parent folder, the working SDK directory. The problem I got before was when I updraded the renpy/rapt version where numbers were differents.

Like I said before, ask them if they found log file that maybe can contain errors.

You can also, if you want, give the package so I can check on my nexus4 and check if it's a system configuration problem or a problem in your game.

Sorry, I meant "give the source of the package" so I can try the compilation on my side to check if it's a compiling problem (with the system configuration) or if it's coming from the game.

But I've been able to check and there's no log fle in the Android\data\yourgameid folder

OK, I've been able to make it work.
Steps to check:
- no .rpa files in "game" dir, the android version don't support .rpa (files who was crypted in the RPA are avariable in the archive folder, move them to game folder and comment build.classify in the option.rpy) before building android apk. (rename apk to zip and check that there's no rpa and that ALL your files are included)
- don't use special characters
- check the XXXX-release.apk filesize. It must be approximatively the size of your game directory + ~6Mo.

Yay it works so far just fine >___< Thank you for all your help! Even though the save/load system cause an error, I think this is not a big problem since my visual novel is just short story.
One question again, how can I change the default icon of Ren'py into my customized icon? I've been able to do this on computer version, but different syntax may apply on Android version. Once again, thanks in advance.

For android, put a file named android-icon.png in the base directory.

What's the problem with the save/load system? It should fundamentally work on Android the same way it does elsewhere. (And it has to work for the Android lifecycle to not give you problems.)

And what hapens if he forgot to remove the save folder in the game folder before building the apk? :D

By the way, instead of closing with an error, renpy should indicate on android that there's a problem loading resources (when they're in unsupported .rpa files
(is it on http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/android.h ... bug-output ? Maybe a logfile would be easier for the user?)

There's now window on android device, this setting is for the small icon at left in the titlebar of the window.
icon name android-icon.png is hard-coded and not in conf files (there's also a presplash image for the android version that you can change)

It seems that's the reason....after I re-build again with deleting save slot and persistent data it works just fine. By the way, I'm a female.
