Opening project on another pc...

#1 Post by StarMasayume »

Hopefully this and my other should be easy questions. After a long hiatus I've gotten back on track with working on my renpy game. I had initially created the project on my main pc and had it save it in one of my dropbox folders so I could access anywhere. Now I think I had it working on a little mini-laptop I had but I recently installed renpy on a regular laptop I could work on. I can't figure out again how to open a project to work on that hasn't been "created" since it already exists.

That breached two other questions
-How do you DELETE a project you don't want?
-If I install the new update on my other pc, does that affect recognizing the games at all?

And this is a different question but just realized I forgot how to do it. What key toggles the developer tools/menu while testing out the game? I just remember it would tell you things like how many points you currently have an such since it's a point based game.

When ren'py first starts on a new machine, it asks you to set a project directory. Copy the directory for your project into that project directory and it will just appear in there. To delete a project, delete its directory.
Shift+D brings up the developer menu.

Thanks Asceai! Maybe I'll just delete renpy and reinstall it on that computer. I'm so used to going to default settings when I install.
