How to change textboxes (or text boxes :P)

Hi, I decided to create a visual novel but browsing the site I've found such cool thing: textboxes (where the dialoge appears) have been completly different from deatful ones!!! , so I would ask you peolpe about how to change the deatful textboxes ones to a custom ones.

I was friking out becaus in the tutorial wich is include in Ren'Py only shows things, not how to get it. Thanks a lot!!! <3

There are two main websites for Renpy documentation.

The information on this site is a little out of date, but there are some things which are only documented here, and I find it a bit more beginner-friendly.

This is where the most modern documentation is. The information is also a bit more in-depth, but might be a bit harder to follow at times.

Here's two links with information specific to defining characters. They also tell you how to set certain characteristics such as the color of their names.

I would reccomend the second site more, but the first site tends to be laid out more like a tutorial if that's what you need.
