Text History question

#1 Post by chocoberrie » Tue May 20, 2014 7:38 pm

Hello!

I came across this text history code, and it worked wonderfully! However, I have a few questions about how to modify it further:

1) How can I make the text history screen appear from a text history button that's under the dialogue box? The way it's set up right now, the screen only appears when you scroll up with a mouse wheel.
2) How can I change the appearance of the screen (e.g. font, background color, etc.)?
3) How can I add a custom scroll bar on the side?

Thank you! ^_^

Hi chocoberrie.
I have the answer to your second question.
To change the appearance of the screen first you'll have to define a new style.
Visit this page on how to define styles:
http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/style.htm ... les-python

And here's a list of style properties that you can change:
http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/style_pro ... properties

Hope I helped.
Cheers!

Ah, that's what I'm looking for! Thank you very much! :)
