Android

#1 Post by Crazy Li » Sun May 25, 2014 7:25 pm

Just tried testing an Android build, but I couldn't do it. What did I do wrong?
Updating source code.

Updating build files.
Error: Target id 'android-8' is not valid. Use 'android.bat list targets' to get the target ids.

Creating assets directory.

Packaging internal data.

I'm using Ant to build the package.
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist!
Build failed

The build seems to have failed.
Was I went through the first two steps and configured it, and this is what happened on the Build Package step. What was I supposed to do? >.>

Try reinstalling the SDK from the launcher (Install Android SDK or something)

haha silly me.

Updating was the answer, thanks guys.

Android build worked without a hitch. I'm also pleased to see that despite the fact the Android emulator built into Ren'py doesn't support the keyboard, the actual built application seems to recognize it fine. I was able to use my smartphone's slide-out keyboard to type in a name entry box and hit enter to accept the name.
