Compiling/Running RenPy under these versions of Python?

#1 Post by Twar3Draconis » Thu Nov 01, 2007 9:58 pm

Would it be possible to run RenPy or Compile if for these versions of Python?

I'm somewhat sure that the first one has support for RenPy.

At the very least, you'd need to port pygame to the Playstation portable, either by porting SDL and everything else pygame depends on, or else by making an api-compatible version of pygame that uses the psp libraries.

The latter would be fairly easy, as we don't actually use that much of pygame.

I'm not planning on doing it, however. I don't really see spending a lot of time and support resources on a platform that is actively trying to prevent people from developing for it.
