I am here to ask another question!
How do you show UIs stuffs? I intend to change the 'Start Game', 'Preferences', 'Load Game', etc buttons to a new style, or what they would call UIs.
Can you help me here?

There should be helpful tutorials in the Cookbook! There's also a helpful tubmlr blog called the Renpy Handbook that laid everything out easily for me.

But do you create your own UIs? If you do, how?

HimawariChiyako, there isn't a simple answer to your question. There's simply too many ways to customise your GUI. The simplest way is to change styles and color schemes using the launcher. Then, you can edit your screens.rpy and your options.rpy scripts to make some more changes, like changing fonts, changing elements positions and so on.
If you don't want to use any of the Ren'Py standard styles, then you'll have more options.
You can use imagemaps. See here for an example project:
http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 79#p269679
Or you can use imagebuttons. Again, look here for a sample project:
http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 51&t=22565
You will have to study the code and understand how it works. And for the images, yes, you will have to create them yourself, or ask someone else to create them for you. Or you can look for some free resources. Look here, for example:
http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewforum.php?f=52
You can learn by following a good tutorial and studying the code of a completed game.
I would suggest you to take a look here: http://risamo.cyanide-tea.net/

No, sorry! You must be mistaking me for someone else.
