Hello everyone

! Got a couple of quick questions that I could use some help with.
1. In a Renpy game I am currently developing, for the default English build, the save files read Dec 3rd etc as they are supposed to. Once I switch to another language (e.g. Chinese), however, it returns an empty string. So, instead of getting "1. Dec 3rd", only "1. " appears. The empty slots still display "Empty Slot" correctly in either language, though. I could use some help with this.
2. Any way I can add a little tag to the latest save file? A "NEW" icon that appears in the top left corner, for instance. Or maybe just add the text "new" after the save file name. Can that be done?
Thank you so much

!

The time format string should be translated. It's at the top of tl/<language>/common.rpy, the string that looks like:
Code: Select all
# renpy/common/00action_file.rpy:118
old "%b %d, %H:%M"
new ""
You'll want to change that, maybe to:
Code: Select all
# renpy/common/00action_file.rpy:118
old "%b %d, %H:%M"
new "%Y-%m-%d %H:%M"

Take a look at the FileNewest function.
