...So, lemme just get straight to the point here.
Is it possible to make rollback display previous text in NVL mode AND without changing the current scene/music/onscreen stuff, except for the dialogue box? I dunno, my reason for wanting to do this is probably silly, but... yeah, IMO, it'd look better, particularly with the not changing the current onscreen stuff.
If only one or the other can be done for some reason, that's okay too, I'm just... curious if there's a better-looking way to rollback. >>

Not with Ren'Py as it sits now. Rollback resets the state of Ren'Py to a previous state, and that state includes all of the things you've mentioned.

Ah, alrighty then~. I can live without it, heh.PyTom wrote:Not with Ren'Py as it sits now. Rollback resets the state of Ren'Py to a previous state, and that state includes all of the things you've mentioned.
Oh, another question that came up that I don't feel like spamming with a new thread for.
My VN is set to 1024x600 resolution. When I set it in fullscreen, the bottom half of the screen is not black like I would want it to be, but transparent so you can see the programs underneath.
Is there any way I can change this?

Re: NVL Rollback?
That's weird, as it should be black. Well, 6.6 has a different way of setting the fullscreen mode, that should fix this problem.

Re: NVL Rollback?
Mmm, alright, I'll be waiting for it.
...Third question, because I'm utterly dim-witted.
I implemented the gallery, and noticed that if the image is vertically larger than the screen, if you click, it shows the rest of it. Is there any way to make this movement smoother (i.e. a dissolve or a pan -- especially a pan)?

Are you using the new gallery code?

Re: NVL Rollback?
Yeah; I did figure out how to do the dissolve transition for it, but I personally would like to do a pan, but I can't figure out, looking at the new_gallery.rpy file, how I would go about doing it (because all the complicated coding goes right over my head, usually).PyTom wrote:Are you using the new gallery code?
Is that possible?
