Hello!
Can you add a gif that would play in a loop during the main menu before the player starts the game?
Thank you for your time!
Is it possible to add a gif or something on the main menu?

According to the documentation, Ren'py only supports png and jpg.
If you want to have an animated image, that is usually done using ATL and a series of jpgs. Information on ATL is here: http://www.renpy.org/doc/html/atl.html

A Close Shave:
*Last Thing Done (Aug 17): Finished coding emotions and camera for 4/10 main labels.
*Currently Doing: Coding of emotions and camera for the labels--On 5/10
*First Next thing to do: Code in all CG and special animation stuff
*Next Next thing to do: Set up film animation
*Other Thing to Do: Do SFX and Score (maybe think about eye blinks?) Check out My Clock Cookbook Recipe: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 51&t=21978

Does Ren'py support animated jpgs? Because I've seen those before.

My understanding is that Renpy does not support animated jpgs. If you want animation, you should create it by hand using ATL.orz wrote:Does Ren'py support animated jpgs? Because I've seen those before.
