Transition and dialogue at the same time?

I want my sprite to move WHILE the character is talking. Is this possible? This could be a basic thing to know, but I'm pretty much a beginner.

Please help? It will be very much appreciated! :mrgreen:

What stops them from moving? Transforms should just run until they are replaced/destroyed, renpy.say shouldn't cut into them unless you want it to...

I mean that the textbox is hidden while a transition is going on and won't appear until a transition's done. (Am I missing the point?)

I misunderstood your first post, I thought that you wanted to show say window while the animation is active (moving).

1) Hide the say window.
2) Start whatever transition or transform you're using.
3) Pause for the duration of the transform, use Hard Pause if you don't want any interactions at all while the animation is playing itself out.
4) Show the say window again.

But-? Won't this do the exact opposite? :D (Hide the text ---> Play the transition ---> Show the text) This is already happening!

I want the transition to play AND the text to show AT THE SAME TIME (Sorry, in case your answer does exactly that and I'm just not seeing it T_T)

xela just probably never uses transitions anymore ;)

Use atl transforms instead of transitions. (Transitions use with, atl transforms use at.)
