Where are Steam Achievments Stored?

I had assumed that Steam Achievements were stored in the persistent data, but one of my players just got all of my achievements after my most recent update. I deleted the saves folder before I updated. Is there anything else I'm missing?

Uh, you shouldn't have to delete the saves folder. When you build a game the build automatically excludes all your save data and persistent data.

Maybe you should make sure your "file patterns" section of options.rpy has all the default exclusions in it.

Could you have started the game right after deleting the save data, closed after confirming the game is operational, and then pressed upload? This was how everyone got achievements unlocked for Sunrider Academy.

I definitely unlocked a ton of CGs for people last year by doing that, so I'm pretty cautious about it now. I don't think I forgot to delete this time around, but I re-uploaded a new folder just in case.
