I just stumbled across this article from yesterday:

http://www.siliconera.com/2016/06/13/un ... ort-renpy/

It looks like they're going off a Twitter post. Can anyone confirm this?

Well, Tom seemed to have replied to that tweet and isn't denying the fact unless I'm missing something. I'm quite fond of Unity; it could yield some interesting ideas.

From what I understand, Sekai Project (and their various contractors) is putting together a tool to translate some subset of Ren'Py games to Unity. As far as I know, this isn't general support, and I'm not actually involved.

Yes, the title of the article is slightly misleading and seems like people will be able to load up their game into Unity and self publish it.

It's really more of a way to easily port Ren'py games but that is only able to be used by them (unless someone else developed the tools separately to do the same thing)

Can I make Demon master chris 2 for ps vita?
No just kidding. Aside from adult content, It must be impossible to port python program. I guess it parses only ren'py scripts on an Unity script (maybe C#), not python. Though 3D camera will be supported because (from what I know) it's part of Fault cloud funding project.
